Nominating Bert Hellinger for the Nobel Peace Prize

Dear madam,

dear sir,

dear friends,

My friend Regula Wyss and I would like to initiate Bert Hellinger’s nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2011, and we would like to invite people to join us in our initiative.

The rules of the Nobel Prize Committee specify that only active or former members of national assemblies and governments of states, members of international courts, former Nobel Peace Prize Laureates, University rectors, professors of social sciences, history, philosophy, law and theology, directors of peace research institutes and foreign policy institutes or active and former members of the Norwegian Nobel Committee can hand in a nomination.

We are in the process of formulating the document containing Bert Hellinger’s achievements in the format required by the Nobel Prize Committee. Beyond that, we need two or three persons with any of the positions mentioned above who can write an accompanying letter supporting Bert Hellinger’s nomination. We were told the letter can be written in a heartfelt way, but the style should be formal above all,

The deadline for handing in the nomination letters is the 1. February 2011.

Apart from these 3 nomination letters from specially qualified people all of us can send supporting letters, the more the better.

The letters may be “unique and brilliant” in their appearance, and they should not be folded, but rather be sent in a large envelope. So if you want to support this initiative, think of Bert Hellinger’s unique and brilliant achievements, all those that give evidence of what he has done for peace, all the way from within the individual to large scale situations.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

With kind regards,

Dr. Barbara Padberg Regula Wyss
